On 17 Dec 2019 (Tue), Kenny Chun (Partner, Litigation and Dispute Resolution) and Ronald To (Senior Associate, Litigation and Dispute Resolution) spoke to a group of Shenzhen lawyers and in-house counsels at a half-day forum organized by Shenzhen REIZ Law Firm. Mr. Pan Lidong, the Managing Director of REIZ and the Chairman of Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IP Committee), kicked off the forum by introducing the speakers and welcoming the attendees. Kenny and Ronald discussed the common shareholders’ disputes, shareholders' rights and remedies and also some controversial cases in Hong Kong, while the other heavyweight speakers presented an overview of commercial litigation in the United States and the common disputes arising from online business and e-commerce in China. Most of the audience agreed that the forum facilitated the discussion of the legal landscape in China, the US and Hong Kong and they raised a lot of relevant questions to the speakers after the presentation.
