W. K. To & Co. supports Po Leung Kuk and attends CSR Day 2017

Ruth Chan and Julia Ng were invited to attend the Po Leung Kuk CSR Day 24 February 2017 (Fri) as the firm has always been the PLK's  corporate partner in supporting their CSR programs to care for the underprivileged in the local community.

Dr. Eleanor Kwok, BBS, Chairman of Po Leung Kuk, kicked off this annual event with a welcome address expressing gratitude towards all participants and emphasizing the importance of partnerships and collaborative efforts between PLK and CSR partners.

PLK also introduced one of their new CSR approaches, i.e. to promote youth arts and local cultural development.   For instance, PLK would provide short-term residential services at far below market rates to local and overseas artists at V54 building (where this event took place).  V54 was a French architectural style house in Happy Valley and was classified as a Grade III Historic Building.  This venue would facilitate and promote the cultural exchange for local and world-wide artists, more importantly to connect art with the community.

Looking forward, our firm will continue to uphold and strengthen our commitment to giving back to the community and we look forward to your support in our future CSR initiatives.
